Can we com from a place of love in response to violence? “o. u. being” reflects first hand experiences of the Chinese people during the time leading up to and following the Tiananmen Square Massacre, 1989. It utilizes music, movement, and theater to metaphorically unwind the covert life of a subjugated individual searching for a reason to exist within the oppressive dominating system of a sadosociety.
